Prudential Ride London is a new, annual, world - class festival of cycling. It will take place in London on closed roads this weekend (Saturday 3rd August 2013 - Sunday 4th August 2013). There will be a significant impact on travel in and around London.
Please plan your journey in advance as there will be road closures, bus diversions and parking restrictions in affected areas on the days when events take place. Roads next to the closed routes will have restricted access for local residents and businesses and their will be no crossing points for vehicles.
If you plan to drive in the affected area over the weekend, you'd need to plan your route carefully or consider using the Tube or Rail services instead.
Any vehicle left on the route, or parked in a suspended parking bay, will be removed.

Freight and business delivery advice
If you make or receive deliveries in London and Surrey over the weekend, particularly on a Sunday, you may be affected by congestion and increased journey times because of road closures in the areas around the Prudential RideLondon events.
Roads will close around 04:00 and reopen when all the riders have passed through and it is safe to do so. If you operate in areas on or near the route you should talk to your customers and suppliers now, to consider if there are changes you can make to your deliveries.
You may wish to consider:
- Changing the day of your deliveries to before or after the weekend of 3-4 August
- Changing the times of your deliveries to avoid road closures
- Using alternative routes that avoid the area to make your deliveries
- Signing up to the TfL Road Freight Bulletin for regular information and advice on issues impacting deliveries in London. Email freight@tfl.gov.uk to sign up
