Arriva -
Route 317 is expected to get 5 new buses in Autumn 2014
1 Euro 6 B5TL/Gemini due in Spring 2014
Recruiting new workers in Dalston area.
Go Ahead London -
2 new double deckers for Merton in the Spring (Possibly existing buses).
London United -
Route 10 to convert to new Routemaster operation in the Spring.
Route E3 will use 26 refurbished Omnicitys from the 10 upon new contract with London United.
1 new Optare Metrocity due for the 391.
Metroline -
23 B5LH/Gemini ordered for route 7.
2 Euro 6 B5TL/Gemini due in Spring
Stagecoach -
30 B5LH/Gemini ordered to replace existing ALX400s at West Ham garage.
All E40Ds and E40Hs are delayed until March/April.
Quality Line -
12 new Optare Metrocitys due in March for the S1.
TFL
Around 4 new BYD k9 buses are due in London shortly. What routes they will go on is still yet to be announced.
Somewhere between 4-7 new Routemasters are being built weekly for upcoming conversions.
Hants & Dorset trim update:
Some of Abellio and Go Ahead London's Enviro400s have been sighted. As well as Metroline's VPLs and some London United OPs.
Other news
ADL, Wrightbus & Optare have a cap of 250 Euro V buses for 2014.
The two images of the Next-gen Enviro400 are not owned by anybody of the SLBB. If the owner wishes to have the pictures removed please state so.

ReplyDeleteMetroline and other companies should get the Next Gen Enviro 400 but for the prototype like the one for Abellio I'm unsure atm.

DeleteThere are believed to be more than one of these buses destined for London :) As well as the new Hybrid buses from ADL.
DeleteIf Wrightbus has a cap of 250 Euro V buses for 2014, at what point will the NBfL become Euro VI? That is, are routes 8, 10, 38 going to be converted with Euro V NBfL (is this because they were ordered before the Euro VI deadline even though they will be produced after?).
ReplyDeleteI thought there was a massive First order that would absorb most of these 250 Euro V allowance for all three manufacturers (or is First getting the Euro VI buses and the Euro V allowance is being used for NBfL?)
Are the Metroline and Stagecoach B5LH orders the Euro VI Gemini 3 or the Gemini 2? In another post you said it would be Gemini 2 body on a B5LH chassis, so is this a Euro VI Gemini 2?
Currently 5 Euro VI NRM are due for testing but I imagine by the time the 8, 15 & 38 convert they will be Euro IV. But the 10 I would expected will get mostly Euro V NRM. So I'd imagine most buses due for London this year will be Euro VI.
DeleteI've heard that they did make a mass order but I'm not 100% certain.
Stagecoach & Metroline's orders are definitely B5LH/Gemini 2. But I would expect Stagecoach's buses to be Euro V and Metroline's to be Euro VI.
Sorry some of the information I provided is incorrect and it turns out that Stagecoach and Metroline may receive a full fleet of Euro 6 Gemini 3's.
DeleteMetroline should re order the b5ls but gemini 3s for route 4 and get some b5tls gemini 3s for route 91 and also some b9tls for potters bar on the 217 would be awosme
